After all, it is Their land. Just as the land we live on in the United States is Our land. Of course our forefathers stole this land. But then certain groups of people have been stealing land from other people for millenniums. But you are wrong about people being able to go anywhere and look for a place to live and that they don't really care about land. The truth is people Do care about land. A lot. While few in the United States would want to live in the heat and sandstorms of the Middle East, few wouldn't mind owning some of that land. Especially since there is so much oil in that region.
