It’s not so much that the Middle Easterners want to ‘fight’ for Their land. After all, it is Their land. Just as the land we live on in the United States is Our land. Of course our forefathers stole this land. But then certain groups of people have been stealing land from other people for millenniums.
But you are wrong about people being able to go anywhere and look for a place to live and that they don’t really care about land.
The truth is people Do care about land. A lot.
While few in the United States would want to live in the heat and sandstorms of the Middle East, few wouldn’t mind owning some of that land. Especially since there is so much oil in that region.
The fighting you hear about is usually between the Jews and the Palestinians.and since the US is always butting into other people’s business, we too are guilty of fighting for land……the land of the Mesopotamians, now called Iraq.
