We didn’t. With the blessing and urging of the UN we just pushed Saddam out of Kuwait (that would be the country that he invaded). The reason we did not remove Saddam at that time, was the UN only authorized to push Saddam back to Baghdad. You have a very naive knowledge of the world child.
