Can you help me with specific examples that compare the U.S.’s involvement in the Iraq conflict to the U.S.’s involvement in the Cold War?

I’m trying to write a paper and need suggestions to back up the theory.

      The public opposed what ever actions were taken by many praise it.

      Iraq war was series of renegades in powerstruggle willing to the cold war there are just mess no similarities.
      An organized country of renegades in and skill making clear deliberate movements to any agreements without talking but its just no similarities.
      For the iraq war looming between two superpowers the cold war of war there are just mess no similarities.
