How often do National Guard get deployed off soil, in conflicts such as Iraq and Afghanistan?

I am 18 considering joining the National Guard for College benefits and i have heard they see the least amount of combat. But i also hear they were deployed somewhat to Iraq and Afghanistan. Can someone please help me?

      The training and deployment to avoid combat dont sign up its that simple.
      An actual military unit and duty so would be asking the training and deployment to foreign soil.
