Average wait time in the Army is a year. Some go back sooner, some later. The dwell time for some units here after OIF III was about 18 months, some went back after a year home. I think husband may be home about 18 months after this deployment. So, I guess it would depend alot of things, but they TRY to give you at least a year home. They could call ya back at any time.
