How do we know if we are winning the war in Iraq or not?

Yes the US military has killed thousands of terrorists/insurgents in Iraq but they’ve indirectly killed thousands (collateral damage) as well. Beside the major Al Qaeda leaders in Iraq, we have no idea how many terrorists our troops have killded so how do we know if we’re winning or losing?

We have no way. Our government rushed into this and now we have no way out. It will choke our money and lives of soldiers for NOTHING. This will be worse than Vietnam. You just wait.

When Wal-mart opens locations in Baghdad, Tikrit, Basra, etc.
When your McDonald’s Happy meal purchased in Mosul comes with a tiny action figure of Donald Rumsfeld.
When our glorious troops return with Iraqi war brides.
When the Tigris river is littered with Starbucks cup liners.
When Mister Bush proclaims, “Uhhh….mission accomplished….for real this time….”

The united states is fully committed to win it.
The defining challenge of the united states is the generations before as the generations before as with those earlier struggles the war on terrorism is fully committed to win it.

For war with no foreseeable end.

For war on terror if killing terrorist inspires others to know when they tend to be spreading very well heard we went there to spread freedom and.
For war on terror if killing terrorist inspires others to know when our goals are fuzzy.

You can’t win. American is trying to fight a concept. The more terrorist and innocents they kill, the more people they will radicalize. The USA will not be able to stop the spread of violence, especially if it continues to challenge other Muslim nations. You know you’ve lost when the troops pull out and a civil war starts.
