I have just purchased a 5 speed manual Peugot 307 XSE 5 dr Hatch privately, although the vehicle is still under new car warranty. It has an annoying shudder / vibration when accelerating out of 2nd gear only. The dealers have established that despite the vehicle having Australian compliance certification, it has the incorrect front springs fitted.
The springs are for Middle East specs, which place the car 1.5 inches out of factory tolerance for ride height. The dealer is prepared to have the springs replaced, however I am concerned about what else needs to be checked to varify the correct European specs. For example- drive shafts, engine mounts,tie rods, stays etc. Bottom line, what is the difference between components for Middle East spec versus European?

My husband’s unit is mobiliznig in a few weeks and I was just thinking I’d send him with stamps for writing letters and I wondered if we use regular postage stamps, or if you need different postage when sending letters to a Soldier in Iraq. Thanks!
